Purchasing terms and refund policy

BINA PATHWAYS LTD · BP-ACADEMY-2026-10-31-v2 · Effective 31 October 2026

These terms apply to Academy orders accepted from 31 October 2026. Earlier orders keep the version recorded when accepted. Supplier: BINA PATHWAYS LTD, company 16667031, Apartment 02, 101 Silvester Street, Liverpool, L5 8AB; training@binapathways.co.uk; 07400 427281. Mandatory statutory rights take priority over these terms.

Review before paying

You can view course descriptions, intended audience, learning outcomes, lesson outline, estimated duration, assessment requirements and limitations before buying. Review the named courses, staff/course allowance, total payable, access period and expiry in your order. Correct your selections before continuing. Save these terms and the order confirmation. Account registration does not itself purchase learning.

The Academy supplies online theory learning and assessment. Certificates do not establish practical competence, professional registration, employer authorisation or a regulated qualification. Not CPD approved yet. A course level describes learning scope unless a verified qualification is expressly identified. No guaranteed accreditation, job, clinical competence or regulatory acceptance is promised.

Price, payment and access

The confirmed order controls the price and included access. No VAT is added unless legally due. Purchases are one-off with no automatic renewal. Payment is confirmed by the provider before paid content is supplied. Card, eligible wallets, Link and Pay by Bank depend on provider/device/bank availability. Bina does not receive your full card or bank credentials. There is no paid access merely because a return page says payment succeeded.

Individual single courses remain £5.99 at launch. Custom baskets of at least 10 distinct courses spanning at least two training groups receive 30% off that selected-course basket. Fixed group packages have their own displayed prices. Discounts are not silently combined.

The employer base plan is £570 for 40 named staff and a 35-course allowance. Each additional 40-staff block costs £513; each additional 35-course block costs £513. This is 10% off the £570 upgrade reference price, applied to upgrade blocks only. Staff and course blocks add independently. The base plus one of each is £1,596 for 80 staff and a 70-course allowance.

Only published courses can be selected. An allowance can exceed the current catalogue; unused spaces can be filled with courses published during the remaining term. We do not promise an unpublished course, publication date or unlimited future access. Course choices are additive for the term. Upgrades and later staff allocations share the original expiry; they do not restart the licence. The order states the actual access period. Named allocation and an accepted employer invitation are required for staff access. Do not share accounts or resell access.

Refunds and consumer cancellation

For consumer digital-content purchases, the usual cancellation period is 14 days from contract formation. Visiting an overview, registering or accepting general terms does not waive that right. To start supply during that period, you must separately request immediate supply and acknowledge that the cancellation right is lost once supply begins where the statutory conditions are met. Choices are unticked by default and recorded with your order.

Without that immediate-supply choice, access starts after the 14-day cancellation period and your purchased access duration starts then. Where an applicable statutory right is validly exercised, we honour it. We do not rely on a waiver if the required information, consent, acknowledgement or confirmation was not provided. A service or mixed contract follows the rules applicable to each part; digital-content wording does not remove different service rights.

Once digital supply begins following a valid request, acknowledgement and required confirmation, we do not offer an additional discretionary refund merely because you change your mind, do not finish, fail an assessment or later need different training. This does not remove rights for faulty, misdescribed or unprovided content/services, duplicate/incorrect charges, or other legal entitlements. Appropriate remedies can include correction, repeat performance where relevant, price reduction or refund as applicable.

Businesses do not receive the consumer cooling-off right merely by purchasing staff licences. Organisation purchases and upgrades are final for ordinary changes of mind or unused staff/course capacity, subject to an expressly agreed variation, breach and rights which cannot lawfully be excluded. Bina does not keep money for an order it cannot accept or supply without providing the appropriate remedy.

Contact training@binapathways.co.uk with the order reference. We normally acknowledge within two working days, investigate and explain the outcome. Valid refunds are made within the applicable legal deadline to the original payment method unless another lawful method is agreed, without an improper fee. No term excludes liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.

Cancellation notice

You may email or post: “I give notice that I cancel my Academy order [reference/course], ordered on [date]. Name: [name]. Email/address: [details]. Date: [date].” A particular form is not mandatory. Send to training@binapathways.co.uk or the registered office above.

Learning, assessments and support

Complete the required lessons, checkpoints and media/knowledge activities before progressing. The current standard is an 85% pass mark and three final-assessment attempts before the stated restart arrangements. Written responses are acknowledged as submissions; they are not automatically represented as clinically correct. Ask for support, an accessibility adjustment or human review of an assessment issue. An uninvolved reviewer should provide an update normally within ten working days. Historical scores and certificates retain their traceable course version and cycle.

Use a supported modern browser, internet connection and a personal email account. Written teaching and alternatives are available; external video playback can depend on the publisher and your device. Report a barrier or material outage. Where an outage prevents the agreed service, we consider an appropriate extension or other remedy while preserving statutory rights.

Privacy, employer reporting and permitted use

Read the Academy privacy notice and cookie notice. An employer can view relevant assigned learning and checkpoints within its organisation/course/cycle, not unrelated private purchases. Employers must inform workers about assignments and reporting, verify invitations, control manager access and comply with their own data-protection duties. Appropriate processor terms are required where Bina acts only on employer instructions.

Do not submit identifiable care, health, pupil or patient records in scenarios or messages. Use content for your authorised learning; do not republish course materials, share passwords, resell access or distribute question banks. Statutory exceptions and assistive use remain available.

Expiry, complaints and liability

Expiry ends access to new learning as agreed; it does not itself falsify earned results or invalidate historic certificates. Restrictions for serious misuse or security concerns must be proportionate, with an explanation and review route where lawful. For an employer's overdue undisputed sums, reasonable notice and a chance to resolve the issue precede ordinary suspension. Material breach may justify termination after a reasonable remedy period, except where immediate action is justified by serious risk or irremediable breach.

Contact support to complain, then ask for review by an uninvolved director. Each party remains responsible for its own unlawful acts, breach and negligence. Nothing excludes fraud, death/personal injury caused by negligence or other non-excludable liability. English law applies, preserving mandatory consumer protections and access to a competent court where the law permits. No compulsory complaint process blocks statutory remedies.
